Rainy Cocoa side G Anime's Promo Video Streamed


The official YouTube channel for the Rainy Cocoa anime began streaming a promotional video for Rainy Cocoa side G, the fifth anime season, on Wednesday.
Unlike the previous seasons, the Rainy Cocoa side G season will feature female main characters. Yōko, the daughter of the Rainy Color cafe's owner Kōji Amami, takes over as the acting manager of the cafe.
The main cast stars:
·         Eriko Matsui as Yōko Amami
·         Aina Suzuki as Meru Kashiwagi
The other cast members include Miharu HanaiChiaki OmigawaNichika OmoriNatsuko HaraMarina Yamada, and Ryo Horikawa (the voice of Kōji Amami in the previous seasons).
The original story is again credited to IAM Denshi ShuppanEMT Squared is returning to produce the animation, and Team side G is presenting the project.
The new season will premiere on Tokyo MX on January 8 at 25:35 (effectively January 9 at 1:35 a.m.) and then on Sun TV on January 10 at 10:55 p.m. Before the broadcast, the cast listed above (except for Horikawa) will appear in a two-session event on December 8 in Tokyo. Tickets for a limited number of premium seats will also include photographs of the cast at their dialogue recording sessions.
The first Rainy Cocoa anime premiered in April 2015 and the sequel, Rainy Cocoa, Welcome to Rainy Color (Ameiro Cocoa Rainy color e Yōkoso!), premiered in October 2015. The third season, Rainy Cocoa in Hawaii, premiered in October 2016. Funimation streamed both Rainy Cocoa and Rainy Cocoa, Welcome to Rainy Color as they aired, and the company released both seasons subtitled only on DVD in September 2016.
The anime's fourth season, Ameiro Cocoa Series Ame-con!! (pictured at left), premiered in Japan in October 2017. Crunchyroll streamed the fourth season as it aired, and also added the third season to its catalog in October 2017.
Crunchyroll added the first two seasons of the anime to its catalog in March.
The previous anime seasons of shorts followed a group of men who work at the Rainy Color café. In the show's third season, the café opens a new location in Hawaii, and the fourth season also focuses on the Hawaii shop. Each season of the anime has featured 12 episodes.
