This year's 52nd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on
Monday that the three-member all-girls band ЯeaL (Gintama., Pokémon Sun & Moon) will perform the show's
new ending theme song "Tsuyogari Loser" starting in January. The
single for the song will ship on February 20, although an "anime
size" version of the song will launch first digitally on January 7.
Hitorie (Divine
Gate) is perform the current ending theme song "Polaris."
The Boruto: Naruto Next
Generations television anime series premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo in April 2017, and originally aired on Wednesdays at 5:55
p.m. The anime moved to a new timeslot on Thursdays at 7:25 p.m. in
May, and then moved again to a new timeslot on Sundays at 5:30 p.m.
on October 7.
Viz Media is simulcasting the series on Hulu as it airs in Japan, and Crunchyroll is also streaming the anime. The anime
began airing on Adult Swim's Toonami block on September 29. Viz
Media plans to release the anime on home video
starting next spring.
The anime is
based on Ukyō Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto's Boruto sequel manga, which launched in Weekly Shonen Jump in
May 2016.
