The first 2019 issue of Shueisha's Weekly
Shonen Jump magazine revealed a new visual on Monday for
the television anime adaptation of Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu's The Promised Neverland (Yakusoku no
Neverland) manga. The anime's
character designer Kazuaki Shimada drew the visual:
The
anime will premiere on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block on
January 10 at 24:55 (effectively January 11 at 12:55 a.m.). The anime will
stream exclusively on Amazon Prime in Japan. In France, the
show will streamexclusively on Wakanim.
Mamoru Kanbe (Elfen Lied, The
Perfect Insider) is directing the anime at A-1 Pictures' CloverWorks studio(PERSONA 5 the Animation). Toshiya
Ono (Gatchaman Crowds, The Perfect Insider) is
writing the series composition, Kazuaki Shimada (Mahou Shoujo Nante Mouiidesukara.)
is designing the characters for animation, and Takahiro Obata is composing the music.
The band UVERworld will perform the anime's opening theme song
"Touch off," and the band Cö shu Nie (Tokyo Ghoul:re) will perform the
ending song.
