The official YouTube channel
for the Japanese television network TV Tokyo began streaming anime previously aired on
television on YouTube for a limited
time on Friday. The limited stream will include about 20 works for a total of
more than 800 episodes, and the episodes will be available for about one year.
The videos are region-locked to Japan.
Focusing
on weekdays, the stream is adding about three to 10 episodes per day. The
stream includes anime originally broadcast in morning, evening, and late-night
timeslots.
The channel has
added episodes of Inazuma Eleven: Football Frontier, Xuan Yuan Sword Luminary, Pochitto Hatsumei: Pikachin-Kit, Yamishibai: Japanese Ghost Stories, Yōkai Watch, and Danbōru Senki so far. The stream
is also planned to include Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin.
