If It's for My Daughter, I'd Even Defeat a Demon Lord' Novel Series Gets TV Anime

Hobby Japan announced on Wednesday that CHIROLU's If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord(Uchi no Musume no Tame Naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maō mo Taoseru Kamoshirenai.) light novel series is inspiring a television anime adaptation. The announcement does not reveal a premiere date for the anime.
The cast includes:
Kanon Takao as Latina, a little devil girl who Dale found in the forest and took in. Dale does not know how Latina was raised, but she is clever, obedient, and kind. She is treated like the idol of the "Dancing Tiger" shop, where adventurers gather. She wears her hair with ribbons to hide her horns.
Nobuhiko Okamoto as Dale, a skilled, 18-year-old adventurer. He met Latina in a forest while on quest to defeat some monsters, and has since then become her guardian. He is normally a stern-faced adventurer, but drops his guard when in front of Latina.
J-Novel Club is releasing the light novels digitally in English, and it describes the story:
Dale is a cool, composed, and highly skilled adventurer who's made quite a name for himself despite his youth. One day on a job deep in the forest, he comes across a little devil girl who's almost wasted away. Unable to just leave her there to die, Dale takes her home and becomes her adoptive father. Devil or not, Latina is beyond adorable, and the adventurer soon finds himself head over heels with being a parent. But why was she out in the forest to begin with, and why does she carry the mark of a criminal?
CHIROLU began the series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō! (Let's Be Novelists) website in August 2014. Hobby Japan launched the series in print with illustrations by Truffle in February 2015. The company published the seventh volume in February 2018, and will publish the ninth novel on Friday. J-Novel Club released the fourth volume digitally in English in January 2018.
Hota. has been drawing a manga adaptation of the novel series in Kadokawa's ComicWalker app since July 2016 and Kadokawa published the fourth compiled volume last August. Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing the manga, and it released the second volume in English last October. The novel and manga series combined have over 500,000 copies in print.
